Contract Web Development Inc. is a North Carolina corporation registered in Winston Salem, NC and works with clients from around the globe. We build a unique team of developers around each project, so your needs are met efficiently, affordably, and the first time around. We work with dozens of specialized developers that are experts in their field, and have the credentials and experience your project requires. We hand pick developers that fit your project requirements, and then manage the project for you from beginning to end. Our project managers are the driving force behind Contract Web Development.

Alex Schenker
Web Development

Alex founded Contract Web Development Inc. (CWD) in 2005 and has quickly turned it into a successful web development business, specializing in Search Marketing and Content Management Systems.

Alex has over 11 years experience working as a web developer. He has a unique mix of talents in web development and business which is founded in his education. Alex holds two degrees - one in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a second in Management Science from the University of California at San Diego.

Alex grew up in Zurich, Switzerland and Los Angeles, CA but currently lives happily in Winston Salem, NC with his wife and their two dogs, Bella (Yellow Lab) and Storm (Black Lab).

Michelle Hundley Schenker
Business and Marketing

Michelle has 14 years' experience - both on the client and agency-side of the business - guiding strategic planning, brand management and growth on major national brands including Bank of America, Mattel Toys & Games, Hanes, Salem Baking Co. and licensed products including Spiderman, Harry Potter and Batman. 

Michelle is a perfect combination of left-and-right-brained, with her undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and marketing, and career experience in finance, marketing and strategy. She identified and drove the development of a new game category – DVD Games, resulting in the multi-million dollar global success of Scene It!

Michelle has lived in the city of Angels, the birthplace of the Declaration of Independence, the heart of Country music, and in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower but has chosen Winston-Salem, NC, to call home. 

Lukas Grauer
Graphic Design

Lukas graduated from the Zürich School of Art & Design in 1998.  His talent stems not only from his studies but from his artistic genes.  Since a young child Lukas has been able to draw the human form almost perfectly.  He grew up in an electronic age, and has thereby learned to transform his talent from paper and physical materials to various electronic forms. 

The digital side of art has always fascinated him because it lets him transcend boundaries created by traditional art.  He has been using Adobe Photoshop since the software was first released on the market with version 1.0 in February of 1990. He also holds an audio engineering degree and is an avid Mac user and community supporter.

Laura Wiegand
Content Management Systems

Laura has over 11 years of web development experience, including the last three years of single-handedly installing, configuring, building, themeing and supporting users on multiple Drupal sites. She's a firm believer in the use of technology to organize and deliver information and tries to always do so in an intuitive, user-friendly way. She has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science with a focus on information technology. Originally from the Midwest, she now enjoys living two blocks from the ocean in warm Kure Beach, NC and thinks a snowflake in the sky is one too many.

Anthony Guevara
Social Media

Anthony has over 5 years of social media experience having worked with many of the big social media websites, such as Facebook, Twitter & YouTube, for numerous school projects and for pure enjoyment.

Anthony is currently working on his Bachelors’ degree on Business Administration at The University of San Ignacio de Loyola, Lima-Peru. In addition, Anthony plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to obtain his M.B.A.

Anthony grew up in the coastal city of Lima, Peru. Nonetheless, he holds a dual citizenship for the United States of America & Peru. He is an avid sportsman. He surfs and plays tennis. He is also a very sociable guy and avid Mac user.

Mile Blagojevic
Publishing

Mile is a driving force behind the fastest growing segment of our business - publishing. He interfaces with our writers and works on getting our creative projects edited and published. Mile was born and raised in Croatia but has been in the United States for the last couple decades, honing his skills as a master craftsman.

Mile is also an avid photographer and has a keen eye for artistic elements. His proficiency with production grade camera equipment have helped take our publishing process to the cutting edge as he unearths the perfect shots to go with our articles. Mile is an avid fisherman and tennis player, but has yet to win a match against Alex.
