The template is Drupal-based, the logo and header were designed by Elephant In The Room, and the site was developed in XHTML, PHP, and mySQL.

It is optimized for display on all major browsers, and supporting resolutions down to as small as 800 x 600. It validates as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2.0. All graphics were optimized for optimal page load times on small connections, and rollovers were done using "sliding" graphics to prevent the need for image preloading.

The hallmark feature of the Fleet Feet websites are its user-friendliness. They were created with the non-technical user in mind, so that store owners can update and manage virtually every aspect of their website, including content, images, event management, photo galleries, and more.
