The Los Angeles Public Transportation multimedia documentary was developed and published by Contract Web Development to the Internet in May, 2003. Public transportation provides an alternate method of travel and influences people and the cities they live in economically, socio-economically, and socially. I use Los Angeles as a framework for examining public transportation's impacts on society, and transcribe interviews with two members of UCLA's Institute for Transportation Studies. This documentary examines the effects cost, accessibility, implementation, and technology have on determining public transportation's impact on the spatial structure of urban society, social interaction and mobility, and economic stability.
